Past
Erel ("Mayael") was born in a medium-sized village between the "Twin Tongue" river deep in the Golmore jungle.
She grew up in a strictly traditional village with her twin brother, Reede, by her side until both came of age and the two set upon different paths.She would follow the path of a salve-maker, learning the traditional arts of healing and mist manipulation magics.
Her brother would embark on the traditional path of a warder and devote his life to protecting the wood.Years would pass before the two would see each other, but they would always be reunited.
Until one return cycle, Reede did not return. Rumors spread that Mayael's brother had forsaken his duty and the wood itself, fleeing to the outside world.Refusing to accept that her kin would do such a thing, Mayael set upon her own journey to find him and the truth behind his disappearance.

Recent History
Three years have passed since beginning her journey away from the Golmore Jungle to find her brother.
Though she is still searching for him, she has found some rather unexpected things. Friendships, love, and now a growing family—the bonds of which will inevitably be tested when her commitment to her new life collides with her devotion to her old one.

Rava VieraErel has a tendency to gravitate toward socializing with others of her race (More specifically, other Rava, but she will associate with Veena). Although she isn't outwardly discriminatory towards other races, they will have a more difficult time getting Erel to trust them.
Salves & MedicineA "fixer" through and through, Erel excels at producing curatives of almost every variety. She won't share her process for making her salves and poultices, but she's always interested in learning new techniques herself.
Mist ManipulationIn addition to healing physical wounds, Erel is well trained in mending mist related ailments. Although, at the moment, she's experiencing great difficulty with her mist manipulation abilities, and she's not sure who to turn to who can help her fix it.
WanderlustErel has a deep love of the forest, so she is very likely to be seen wandering around the wilds collecting herbs for her salves, or just enjoying the solitude of nature.
Flora EnthusiastErel is very knowledgeable on a wide range of plants and flowers and always has an interest in either discussing plants and their applications, or learning about new ones.
